Do you love bagels, coffee, and making customers happy? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Barista & Sandwich Artist to join our awesome weekend team and help spread the love!
Our team members are the heartbeat of the café, creating great drinks and sandwiches, welcoming guests, and keeping our space clean and inviting. We’re seeking someone versatile, upbeat, and ready to jump into both barista and food prep roles with confidence.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet customers warmly and make them feel at home.
- Take orders accurately, noting special requests and needs.
- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks with consistency and care.
- Build delicious sandwiches following our recipes.
- Maintain freshness of ingredients and keep stock rotated.
- Keep the café spotless, from clearing tables to sanitizing equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Educate customers on menu items, popular picks, and specials.
- Work together with your teammates to keep things running smoothly.
- Handle customer concerns with professionalism and positivity.
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, outgoing personality and love for customer service.
- Reliability and adaptability in a fast-paced café setting.
- Basic food safety knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- A genuine love for good coffee, fresh bagels, and teamwork!
Job Details:
- Job Type: Part Time
- Pay: $13/hour + tips, average tip rate upwards of $5-$6/hr
- Hours: 10-15 hours per week
- Schedule: Open, Mid, and Closing shifts ranging from 6:30am-2:30pm. Friday, Saturday
- Location: In-person at Bagel Lovers Café
- Setting: Café & Bakery
